Gore: Ravens “got away with one”

49ers star running back Frank Gore was in the mood to be a sore
loser after the game

Gore: “They got away with one,” he said, according to The Associated Press. “We showed we were the better team. It was just a couple plays here, a couple plays there.”

The 49ers certainly looked like the better team in the second half, when they finally started clicking on both sides of the ball and staged their comeback. But when it mattered most, the 49ers again failed to shut down the Ravens’ Joe Flacco-powered offense, and Colin Kaepernick couldn’t take advantage of defensive holes with his arm or legs. Even with a controversial non-call on a possible hold near the end of the game, San Francisco still botched several chances to take the lead and put the game away.
